KeepSure Privacy Policy

KeepSure is developed and published by Buuk Group OÜ, Registry Code 17370333, registered at Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Harju Maakond, Estonia. This policy explains how the KeepSure app for iPhone handles information.

KeepSure has no account system, advertising, analytics, or tracking. Buuk Group does not operate a KeepSure server and does not receive your receipts, warranty records, or any other content you add to the app.

When you add a warranty, KeepSure stores the product name, purchase date, warranty duration, any notes you enter, and the receipt photo you capture or import. This information is saved in the app's local database on your device.

Receipt text recognition runs entirely on your device using Apple's on-device Vision framework. The receipt image is never uploaded to Buuk Group or any third party for processing.

If your device is signed into iCloud, KeepSure syncs your warranty records and receipt photos through your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit) so they stay available across reinstalls and on your other devices signed into the same Apple Account. This data is stored in your personal iCloud storage under Apple's terms and privacy policy.

Buuk Group cannot access your private iCloud database. Only you, through devices signed into your Apple Account, can read the KeepSure data stored there. If iCloud is unavailable or disabled, KeepSure keeps your data locally on the device only.

Warranty reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your device. Reminder timing is derived from the purchase date and warranty duration you entered and is not sent to or processed by any server operated by Buuk Group.

The optional KeepSure Lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase processed by Apple through StoreKit. KeepSure does not receive or store your payment card details. Apple may provide Buuk Group with transaction and financial reporting information as described in Apple's own privacy policy.

Your KeepSure data remains on your device, and in your private iCloud database if sync is enabled, until you remove it. Deleting an item removes its record, receipt photo, and scheduled reminders. Deleting the app removes its local data; synced copies can be removed by deleting items before uninstalling or by managing KeepSure data in your iCloud settings.

Because Buuk Group does not receive or maintain a copy of your KeepSure data, there is no remote KeepSure account or server-side profile to delete.

KeepSure relies on Apple platform security, app sandboxing, iCloud encryption, and encrypted HTTPS connections for iCloud sync. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection, so you should also protect access to your devices and your Apple Account.

KeepSure is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children. Buuk Group does not knowingly collect personal information from children through KeepSure.

We may update this policy when KeepSure's functionality or legal requirements change. The effective date below will be updated when material changes are published.
